Notes

I have my tracking mount, the Orion Sirius EQ-G (yes, I like Orion equipment). First light with the scope and mount. I didn't know the appropriate exposure for my area so I took some samples (to examine later) and also took a series of M31 (Andromeda Galaxy) at 2m exposure. Epic fail! The light pollution here was beyond what I could have even imagined and M31 was completely washed out.

Now I am a little discouraged. Will I be able to get *anything* reasonable for this crazy bright area? Online reading suggests people are still able to but now need to do some more research.
